Are you as exited as I am ?? Ive been a fan of this show since the very beginning to say the least once they opened their silos shop I was there a month after opening due to that I now live in a different state and I took me a bit to get a plane ticket and blah blah blah .. anyways I'm exited to announce  that Chip and Joanna's home line called heart & hand with magnolia is coming to one of my favorite store this November 5th ! Yes you have read correctly our favorite couple and duo from our favorite show Fixer Upper is coming to target with their own home accessories and decor line .

To start the collection has around 300 pieces and the process with range between $.99 to $129.00 with  90% of the collection being less than $30.00 . So far & whats coming

    Is been a while since I've posted anything in here there has been a lot of new things in our life good and bad but most of all good .

             

    1. We are still in the same house {rental} do to a lot of problems with the developers and contractors of the home we where trying to build also we have had a change in job and needed to stay put for a little while .

    2. We are still moving because the owner of this house is still trying to set the house so right now we are in borrow time with him.


    3. Summer stared and all kids are home but soon they will all be going to school yes all 3 of them . Time really flies I can't believe I have 3 school age kids already


  4. Talking about school ill be going to school myself to further my education this year , I'm very exited and scared at the same time


  5. My husband and I will have our 10th year anniversary this October wow times does fly.

 8. This blog will be going on a different direction since before was all about diy don't get me wrong I will be posting diy projects here and there but I will also try to incorporate so other content that interest me since this blog is to reflect me

Back deck and patio inspiration

Since summer is just around the conner we have stopped almost all projects inside our home to focus on the outside . we never did anything for the outside of our home exempt we'll plant some plants in planters  and put a chair here and there nothing out of the ordinary because well this is a rental after all but since this past few weeks we have learned that the owner won't be selling for a while and that we got a two year renewal with the opportunity of purchasing witch we are highly thinking about it but well thats another story for another day .

Back to the back deck and patio we want to start in the back and work our way to the front since we use the back so much more than the front .


we have a long list like always and well we already stared on it over this past weekend ..


BACK DECK LIST

• power wash entered home 
• bring what ever furniture we have on the deck down to the patio 
• power wash back deck and patio 
• sand loose wood particles of back deck 
• stain back deck 
• buy wood and fabrics for pergola 
• start building pergola 
• stain pergola 
• build curtain rods around pergola 
• build pergola roof
• make curtains
• buy area rug 
• start buying furniture 
• buy {diy } some decor pieces 
• build some storage and extra furniture

SO far thats all we have .. on the list but I'm sure will be adding more along the way ... for this projects we have 6 weeks so wish us luck since we have to give us a death line if not we will never finish also because we are going on summer vacation in 7 weeks and i would like to enjoy it before we leave and just come back to a beautiful patio when we come back ..

I put together with the help of my kids and husband some pictures of what we are going for with this  so we could have an idea on where to start .

Decisions : Console tables

We have made a bit of progress in our family room  but i dont want to show it just yet since is still long from finish .. 2 days ago i posted about what we are looking and going with this space and what we have so far done .

1. We re-store our old mirror from above the fire place .
2. We stared making the big console table that goes behind the sofa .
3. I stared hunting for the perfect coffee table .
4. I bough the supplies for the art .
5. We put up some pictures of our family on the wall .
6. I stared buying pillows for the sofa and fabric .
7. We hanged some curtains that i made .
8. We bough some dvd storage .
9. We got our shag rug .

As the number 2 in our list this is what we are planing on making just on a bigger scale .

The second console table is more like ...just a bit more rustic since is going to be made out of wood.

Fridays inspiration : Coffee tables

Who doesn't love a well styled coffee table ??

A coffee table to me is like the heart of my living room is the talk of all my guest and my pride and joy when i sit in our sofa .

Coffee table decorations and centerpieces are extremely versatile and for that reason they are a big part to decorate a living room all depending on your style . It also brings in a type of fresh and attractive perspective look to your space .

By combining various shapes , textures , colors and even aroma you are making a beautiful  transformation to your living room or sitting area.

Spectacular coffee tables displays bring interest a focal pony to most spaces . Doesn't matter on the coffee table you choose is all up to what is the style you are going for with the space . 

Some of the items i like to use when styling a coffee table for my clients , friends family and even my self are fresh flowers, drift wood , shells ,trays ,decorative vases , small indoor plants , books , candles and more. {these same ideas can be incorporated to your side / night table as well }.

Coffee tables can have an attractive look to them and the items you choose don't have to be high end   you don't have to have a lot of cash to get the glam . 

Decorating a coffee table can be inexpensive and an exiting way to show your creativity and style . As well you can always rotate and change your coffee table decor depending on you mood , special occasion or just because .

Things that you can incorporate into your table styling and design 

Bring in some nature in to you home / think Eco friendly and budget friendly.

Fresh flowers, sea shells , drift wood and small plants this are just some of the items i have work with and that you can surely incorporate into styling  your coffee table for little or no money .

I have a few of favorite items as the perfect conversation starers for example one of my most favorites are books not only can they look amazingly pretty when you incorporate it to your design they can also be a big source of conversation {maybe your guest are also reading the same one or they are into the same things as you are but feel shy to say it}

 I've heard all my life that a picture can tell a 1000 words i don't know who came up with that but to me it sound right . 

A DIY project :

 its a great way to not only show how creative you are but also show that hey if you like it i can surely make you one {friendship starer} .

Aromas:

My favorite Source of aromas are fresh flowers and candles .

Flowers not only look pretty but they also smell divine and well as it brings color and life to any space of your home .

Candles are my second source of aroma they bring great smells to your space as well as a beautiful vase or center pice .

Mother's day gift guide

So like you might know mothers day is almost here ...and i was having a talk with some fellow mums to see what they are thinking of doing or what where their wish list for this day .. other than flowers we all decided that time with the family would be absolutely perfect we also grew that we can always need a little more bling and accessories in our lives .. who doesn't uh,..?? so knowing me i came up with this list guide for the man in our lives or who ever wanted a little inspiration and didn't know where to start ...

Our Honest life

About 2 years ago I came crossed an add online for this company called Honest well I first the name caught me then I went in and I saw all this amazing looking products that they had I was you can say spectacle do to that baby products?? really there is soo many out there lets see how good are this {I thought to myself } I was looking for how to sample them and I found it right at their home page just for a little less than 6.00 you get 5 little cleaning samples of baby shampoo & wash ,baby conditioner , healing balm, laundry detergent , and hand soap.. it ttok almost a week to receive my samples witch I was very exited to try . and once I did I was hooked !! BEST baby products around… so what did I do I saw the had a diaper trial too I order them as well and ageing I was hooked !!! my kids have always been allergic to certain brands of diapers witch it would drive me crazy because I had to high and low to look for diapers that would fit our kids.. so I gave honest a try !! and like a charm !! I would say the VERY BEST !! no more red touchies no more little rashes !! I was in love and soo where my kids they have this wonderful designs I was just over heal with them !!..
And from there on it was a loving relationship between honest and the DeChick family ..

Every month I get two to three bundles baby and home bundle .. diapers and wipes bundle.. oh and I forgot to tell you they also have a vitamin bundle !! I try the other two bundles and ive been more than happy with them for two years now  so last I decided to try their vitamin bundle !!I can say my kids have never been exited for vitamins before and now they take it like is a part of their life every single day ass well as the rest of the family !!…

they don’t always come together and in the same order but my November bundle came like this …{at the time only one box}


I just love the inside of the box ..my kids do to my oldest is always trying to figure out what it says since most of the words are upside down or vertical and horizontal so it makes it hard for him to read it as well is a great puzzle peace for his little brain and he looooooves it!! and so do I ..


And  of course my youngest they don’t care for reading very much soo they have fun with the fun bubble packing that comes inside to protect the items as well as the boxes …they have hours of fun with them .. kids sometimes are just soo simple. to amuse …




I tend to change my bundle of house and baby supplies every month since sometimes im I might have too much shampoo and baby wash bottles but not enough bubble bath gel…so from month to month I change them ,,


I get wipes with my diaper bundle all the time but I always like to order extra with my home and baby essential bundle as well..there is never to much wipes .. 


here is some hand sanitizer spray witch we also get the gel.. and also there is the hand soap  pump  im in loveee with it and I have one in all 3 bathrooms of our home..


here with have the healing balm for those ouchie days .. bug spray {always needed} conditioner mix.. since we have used this untangling the little princess hair is a breeze . shampoo and baby wash !! omg!! im in love!! leaves the baby super clean and smelling fantastic .. conditioner .. leaves the hair soft and  easy to handle .. sunscreen we have used this ever summer for 2 years now and we loooove it.!!!!


stain remover..best stain remover ever.. removes marker marks of clothes , ketchup ,mustard any food marks.. and even wine ive tried in couple wine stains I did to a blouse last week {accidentally spilled my glassed of wine while attending to our little girls }.
and I love the suds up brush and ceramic base .. I used it together with the stain remover witch I always keep one in the kids bathroom one by our sink and one in our laundry room..



Most of the products stay under the sink , some stay in our laundry are a, under the sink in the kitchen .. and in our travel  and to go bags also in our diaper bag ..

Find & likes…august and september

This past two months we have gone out a lot more shop that usual .. since we dint have much free time before we kind of this all our school .home,and project shopping every weekend for two months YIKES! I know my husband was going crazy he doesn’t like going from store to store to store very often ..

This are just a few things I thought they were fantastic so I of course did what anyone with  a big heart would do and gave them a home..

And well this are some of the items and furniture that didn’t make the trip.. many reasons .. some of them didn’t fit in our car we had to throw one of the kids out to find it in so I thought oh no next time {I'm joking that would never actually EVER happened}..other reason was we were kind over the budget for the month {yes we have a monthly budget more about that later} so we decided to let it go and put it down for our next to get list .very very sad but I know will meet again..



okay now you might called me crazy  but I just couldn’t let these go I have many project in min for some others I just loooove to much to say good bye I feel a love song coming on ,.. the point is I went crazy on fabrics these past two months ..
well now showing you the ones that came home with me and are going to love me for ever since I have soo many plans for them.
