DIy : sequin heart wreath

As everyone knows valentine is approaching and is one of my favorite holiday {not because is the month of love and all that } but because of valentines day my hubs decided to surprise me with a trip  to a beautiful park that had an amazing frozen water fall and he took me to the bridge and in the middle of 10 inches of snow and a freezing day to propose to me haha cheesy you might think but to me was amazing since he later on took me on a carriage ride with white horses and all the bells and whistles also i can't forget that the same night he took me to dine and stay over night at one of my favorite hotels in NY, The Plaza .. ..

Okay okay.. enough about me and my romantic day  ... I've been doing some decorating for valentine very soon this year since just last week i decided to pull out the plug on the Christmas decor took me long enough uh .. but since my son is already doing valentine projects for school and going shopping for gifts for his friends and girlfriend {haha i know i feel so old my son has a little girlfriend .. he likes holds hands with her and they sit together at all time while in school is so cute by the way he is only 6 }.

My first and second valentine project for this week was a sequin and ribbon wreath as well as some sequin hair clips for my daughter and my sons girl - friends  at school .




Materials 
 paper
exacto knife
marker ,pencil or pen
craft felt
clips(only for headpieces )
sequins
scissors
hot glue and glue gun
ribbon
wreath
dowell
craft paper { i use the same paper that i used for annaliah room tassel garland)



Step 1 : trace in paper the shape of what ever figure you want to use i did hearts .

Step 2 : trace it onto your craft felt {i did two different sizes}

Step 3: cut your felt into the shapes you traced.

Step 4: start applying just a few dabs of hot glue all around the outside of your shape while placing your sequin and continue this step until your shape is fill with the sequin 

Its going to look a bit like this .

and your done {with this part for now}

Next we go onto the wreath 

Step 1: unpack it from the original packing and lets roll {literally }

Step 2 :we roll the ribbon all around the wreath 

to keep in in place i dabbed a few drops of hot glue between the ribbons. 

for the next step i took a wooden dowel we had laying around from a previous project and covered with gold foil paper .. to make an arrow .

and well here is the final product of my crafty side ..{wink wink }

I initially  was going to make a wreath with all around sequin hearts but i decided not to at the end so with the small ones i decided to make some hair clips for my son friends and my daughter .

it was very easy just use some hot glue and applied it to the clip and the back of the sequin heart and ta da done.!...

holiday home tour

Happy new year to all !!... staring with that i want to say that this year has been a fantastic year yes of course with is ups and downs but still a magnificent year ..we are alive and healthy right ??..anyhow this year we decided on going onto some well deserve vacation and as I'm writing here i have languages  half unpack . as I'm settling in i wanted to post some pictures i took before i left and didn't get to post  .,,....

We deserve some gifts for our daily hard work I always say ..so why not spoiled ourselves on Christmas .. special occasion right?…

2.they are unavailable and they have been for a while but ive been trying to find them since like ever!
3.this website has it all !! ive gotten sooo many things from them just missing this little notebook..
4.this Kate Spade flats are also unavailable at the moment but im waiting for them..
5.loooooooove to get my arm in this one..
6. I grew up watching the doctor and my kids have as well and this is a gift for me and all the member of my family … doctor who all the seasons since 1963..





1.oh he would love this.. for his milk and cookies.. :)
2.he has been wanting this for a while.. I guess you can find the joke in it..
3.who doesn't love some cozy slippers..?
4.what's a man without a good watch? he has a couple of this ones but this new collecting has caught his ayes..
5.who wouldn’t want this teli remote?
6.we travel a lot so why not do in style..

Kids Christmas wish list

This Christmas we wont be at home to celebrate because wait for it….we are going into a FUNCATION for three weeks.. yay.. super exited…
so I decided to put couple list together of the things my kids want and enjoy the must ..!!..
here we go…






1.She used to have a different one once upon of time but as she getting older it was getting a bit to small for her so we decided to upgrade her this year..to the silver cross surf pram in pink … ( we found it in UK but in amazon is cheaper  ,wish I thought of looking there before we got it,.)
2.oh she loooves to sing soo what better than a karaoke machine..
3. loves to have tea with her little dolls .and this tea set is just too cute..
4. she loves all Disney princess and stuff but she \has been into all the sugar rush dolls since wreck it ralph so we got her couple of them from Disney stores and Amazon
5.loove all things puzzles this ones came from target.
6. you don’t have to be a boy to build she looves to create and things building and organizing and decorating just like her momma so what best that a set of Lego Duplo for a stared ..






1.Charlie looves all things Thomas and trains ..so what better than a Thomas remote controlled set ..found at target..
2.like Ananliah he loooves all thing wreck it ralph the movie .. so we decided this year to get him the video game for his wii
3.all kids looove fortes and caves  so we decide to get both boys a tee pee but we the price tag of 200 we decided to make our own ..diy details coming this weaken..
4.charlie looves to go shopping we are making them a super market for their playroom downstairs soo no he has his own shopping kart
5. Disney Disney he loooves all Disney .. so we picked up the infinity at target two weeks ago ..
6..my kids looooove all things doctor who and they have been begging for this sonic screwdriver from doctor 11 ..we finally said yes..







1..he is been wanting an ipad since the minis came out I just thought he was to young for it at the time..so we bough both boys a nabi tablet witch he really enjoyed for a little bit but not anymore so we decided that he was old and responsible enough to get his own tablet now lets see if he stops using ours..

2.he loves all things sports he plays baseball for the school and county but he also loves hockey and lacrosse .so he really wanted this but he wont be able to use it until spring..

4 and 5.. video games for does rainy days…that we don’t have much to do..found them at game stop and target..between 30- 60..
