30 random facts

I decided to do something different today by letting y'all get to know me bit more today ..


well here we go go go go..

1.Im a geeky person (yes video games and all )

2.Ive been to comic con and blizz con (yes I cosplay)

3.Im a hardcore WoW player (been playing since I was in jr year hs sooo around 11 years not to brag but I'm top 5 dps in my guild as a d.h)

4.I can fluently speak more than 3 languages

5.I was born in an island

6.I meet my husband via military internet communications

7.i did half of a semester of college while I was a senior in hs .

8.i wanted to be a pediatrician since I was 4

9.50% of my family members are doctors or surgeons the other 50% are military, lawyers ,nurses pharmacist , engineers, architects ,designers , I.T , authors , business owners, psychologist , and government employees (I have a hudgeeee family)

10.i always wanted to have a big family of my own (we have 3 kids) we want more

11. my dream was always to adopt a less fortunate kid (one day)

12.i was joining the military straight out of hs to pursue my pediatric career while serving my country  

13.im old school ( I love writing things down in my planner instead of using my phone calendar

14. I love watching youtube videos of people organizing and cleaning their homes

15. this bad but so true ( I need to go to home goods at least once a week ) yes I know I have a problem

16.i have a headache every single day (yes I've gone to the doctor I guess I have to take Motrin for the rest of my life)

17.before I speak in translate everything in my head a few times in different languages before I say it (I've gotten used to it I've been doing that since I can remember and is very fast people don't ever notice )

18. I'm the best at anything English related since it was my forte in school ;) now, math!!! bahahahhahah nope idk how I had honors on that subject when I tried so hard to skip every class

19. I did gymnastics for many years as a child

20. I did cheerleading for many years as a child and young adult

21.im extremely teddy around my house but my head is another problem (at the moment I'm thinking about 7 different things with 7 other different possibilities ) in different languages (go ahead and try) lol

22.My whole family plays video games (talking about that every Tuesday and Thursday night after kids go to bed you will catch my husband and I raiding with our guild)

23.i love having a mint leaf with my tea every night

24. coffe is my rescue in the morning

25. I can't sleep pass 6:34 (I've tried but I get cranky so best not to)

26. I have some what of an accent if you listen closely  or I get mad or exited or just any time I speak to fast lol

27.i love watching cartoons before bedtime .

28.i would never eat anything that has a face on ( they will have to take the face away before I even touch it)

29.talking about eating every year for my bday we go to the same restaurant since is my favorite but I only like to go one a year (yes I'm strange)

30. autumn/ and winter are my favorite season

Books a plenty

I most confess that I have a slight addition to books !! idk what is about them I love them from styling and fashion books to decorating and fiction books I love them all !! nothing like a good book and a cup of joy {tea normally} in the morning or honestly at any time of the day .

                                 *this are not all my styling books



My life is a bit busy but I try to read at least 30 mins a day thats the time I dedicate to myself for zen purposes its what keeps me sane {couch couch *}.


I can read a verity of things I love all kinds of book my favorite author by far has to be Ann Rice there is not a book of her that I haven't read and that I have not loved!! I honestly just sink in to every single one of her stories , so much I feel that I'm part of them seeing how they develop is just mesmerizing , I just can't put it down .

But the books I will be talking about today are some of my coffee table /styling books. I try to incorporate any book in every design I make .There something about it,  from a pretty cover to a pretty binder or just in general interesting is a most have conversational piece in any room or space.

boys bed {part 3} the reveal

happy thursday .....today is a very special day since I'm finally going to be revealing the boys beds .. so drumroll please nahhah jk jk .. well jut to give you a re cap if you haven't seen the other part 1 and part 2 of the making of the beds you can check them put HERE and HERE .

Well then lets start ....

This is what the beds look like .....fully finish with the headboard in place and everything .. the whole decoration of the shelves hasn't really happened yet in fact the boys where the ones that did the decorating and i left it like that since it was a special touch and i thought it didn't look bad..

Note :dont mind the lighting in this room because is super hard to photograph since is a very dark room  the only tow windows it has are in the very back of the house and not much sun or light comes though them {but thats just how the boys like it }

Now a look from the other side ...

A little close up on the headboard you said ?? of course..

Is a very simple headboard since the beds are so massive i wanted to give it a little more of the masculine touch with the leather but still comfort and a bit of style .. {btw my husband designed this beds all on his own }this was his very first alone project  well i helped along the way but this was all his designed i didn't have a saying on anything  and i love them ...so keep up the good work honey .

Moving on to the center  and no the bed are actually the same size we did the measurements but the floor in one side of the room is a little lower than in the other side by a about an 1 in and that doesn't not make a lot of difference you cant actually tell at all unless you but this bed together and then well you'll notice .

Oh btw if you are wondering what are the little boxes next to the shelves well thats how they control the lights ...

Moving on to the hardware since we are going with a travel theme in this room mostly Nautical the hubs decided to use this pulls that scream treasure chest!! doesn't it ??

Okay now a look into the beds at night  or well in the case with the lights off ..

 Ps:the lights change colors on their own or they stay still on what eve color you put them on ..their bedroom is not huge is actually a good size room but with this bulky beds it looks smaller and it feels smaller bit again this is a room to relax in and to sleep and what ever they want they have a huge playroom downstairs were they do their playing most of the time  but  my husband still wanted to make this room fun and whats more fun than changing color lights he said .. well i tell you that my kids  L  O   V   E   it ..




And finally this is the look from the hallway just staring at the beds ,,

well i hope you guys enjoyed it and are not disappointed for the wait because well i know this beds are not a lot people styles thats including me but they have grown in me so much the past few weeks and most important my boys love them and well thats all it matter right !..

Note : since i took some pictures of this room i would like to let you know that tomorrow ill be bringing you a more update look of their room tour since well i dont know for how long this room can stay this clean {my boys are normally very clean but boys are boys and most of it they are kids not robots and i cant expect much to say that they do make messes } also want to let you know that this room has stayed incredibly clean for the past two weeks with maybe the occasionally beds not being made but who cares when their is not a big mess to pick up {one happy mum here }.

Diy flower arrangement

 Happy Monday .... hopefully your weekend wasn't like mine .. first saturday i had to wake up all three kiddos give them baths and feed them all by 9 o clock to take a trip to Atlanta to pick up their daddy from the airport that he flew in to Texas to see his big sis and do couple business transitions . That same Saturday i had the smart idea to go into Ikea ! whhhhhyyyyy i was crying midway to the entrance lol it was bring your friend day and holly cow was it full so full the day care that they have in there was so full that you had a 2 hour period of waiting before your kid got in .. no thank you need less to say all the cashiers where open ALL OF THEM and the lines when all the way back to the garden section ! WHAT!!  .. I'm i kicking my self in the butt still?> well yes i am .. because with 2 out of my kids screaming and my husband and i having anxiety attacks inside that place it was no picnic . Well i went in for a dresser and i came out with some l.e.d lights for the boys room 8 Ribba picture frame a dresser and a few cereal containers and that because thats all we could handle we went in trough the catchier department and made it to the kitchen department didn't even get to go upstairs and decided to leave.Note:  last time we ever go on a saturday specially when they have that bring your friend day thing . So none the less i decided to hit up the mall and the fabric outlet after lol i don't learn !!..then when we got home, and  i got to try my new vacuum that was delivered that saturday while we where gone.. {amazing by the way }...

Okay lets get back to track .. last week i hosted a little soiree with some of my friends and the team  was  #springtimeinparis  so today ill be bringing you how i made the floral arrangements .

To make the little bouquet of flowers i simply picked up  two planters from Michael's with the bouquet of flowers already arranged that way and simply put them inside  and for the planters and  i tided a pink ribbon with a bow around it just to give it a little bit of a girly flare to it with the help of some hot glue .

And this is the end result of those ..

Now for my next flower arrangement  i uses this green foam balls also found  at Michaels and cut them almost half to size so they can fit tightly without moving on top of my pedestal candle holder witch i got from Home Goods .

The flowers came in their own bouquet all i had to do was cut them to size ..

After doing that i inserted them very carefully into the balls and placed them on top of thew pedestal candle holders .

 Note :Also i didn't wanted them to move much witch they did so under the foam ball i insured a double sticky command strip that made them not move at all and when it was time to take off was just a breeze ..

And thats all of  it flocks .... easy and simple...

A Parisian Soiree !

Over the weekend i had some dear friends of mine stop by with their babies i was very exited to see them since i haven't seen them in couple years . I decided to trow a little get together  just to chit chat  and remember old times.

Then Friday night my husband and I stared preapering for Sunday afternoon baking and so on (him baking me the so on ) Sunday i found out that Michael's Stores was doing a Paris theme contest witch whats not to love ?? Paris !! or contest !!??  so there i went running to Michael's that Sunday morning as soon as they opened I was the first one thought the door.. I went there to buy couple supplies i needed . for my little get together and of course for their Michael's Makers Challenge .

Note: All the flowers were found at Michael's and hurry they are all 50% off !!

I will like to add that the came was done by me! bahahha i cant even take me serious when i write it !! okay okay the truth is that my amazing hubby stayed up late friday night baking this amazing cake  is a Vanilla cake with cheese cake frosting  i only did the decorating of it  and ..i had nothing but good compliments about the taste and decoration ! so i guess we make a drear team !! btw yes my husband is one of those very rare gems like the black diamond  he is an Ace of all trades .

Since my dinning room paint jobs isn't the greatest in the work { every time i look at it makes me cry kind of thing } i covered it with some back drop fabric for the shoot .

These treats are mini cakes they are the same flavor that the cake is but cover in white chocolate  with ill like to call it a flower for decor .
